-"Starving In Style" was written in 2008, and was originally just the name of the song. Years later, the song's name was used as the band's name.
-Another band has flown the SIS banner, a punk band out of Boston that disbanded in the mid-2000s, though this band was unrelated to the naming of either the track or the band.
-This song was not initially intended to by played live, but served as a strong opening due to its' short length. The original lyrics did not feature any of the band members' names, obviously, and was much longer, detailing the life of Shaun Roland during his homeless years.
